Tuesday, June 6, 6-8pm at Belwin Conservancy
Join staff from Washington Conservation District and Belwin Conservancy for a walk in the woods.
During this workshop we'll practice identifying trees and talk about common challenges you may be facing as a woodland landowner, including:
- Managing buckthorn and garlic mustard and other invasive species;
- Building resiliency and adapting to changing climate patterns; and
- Supporting birds and wildlife.
Meet at the Education Site, Hilltop Classroom: 1553 Stagecoach Trail S., Afton, MN 55001. We'll begin with a short introductory presentation and then head out for a hike on the trails. Please wear sturdy walking shoes, as well as bug spray and sunscreen, and bring a water bottle.
