Spruce budworm has visible impacts on the forests in Minnesota's Northeast Arrowhead. Dead and dying balsam fir and spruce are key signs of spruce bud" worm infestation, which leaves many of us concerned about how to manage the health of our woodlands.

Join us to learn about the identification, impacts, and management of spruce budworm with Extension Educators. Learn about resources available through Cook County Firewise, and Cook County Soil and Water Conservation District for responding to spruce budworm. This workshop will focus on spruce budworm at a forest health scale but will also contain information relevant to those concerned about budworm impacts in yards of all sizes.
